My Assam is at Faridabad Now
I feel so very happy, when I find the imprint of my homeland. This time, my Assam has come to meet me in Faridabad (Haryana). This beautiful state among the seven sisters of North-East India is known for its sprawling tea gardens, mighty Brahmaputra, handicrafts and unique culture.
Last week, I saw an electronic advertisement about Assam Tourism and was mesmerized to see the collage of my state’s beauty, my people and their colorful culture. And, now see, how lucky I’m to find my home miles away from my home. Well, I’m talking about the on-going Surajkund Mela 2012. The colorful extravaganza is highlighting the vibrant culture of Assam this time.
Like every year, the Surajkund Craft Fair is successfully attracted lakhs of tourists from various countries. But, I’ll feel the festive ground will receive more number of foot-steps so has to take back home some brilliant collection of ‘Assamese Meghala’, ‘Assam Tea Leaves’, Handicraft items etc. I have also heard that the mela ground will occupy stores for different varieties of rice & grains, commonly produced in Assam.

Recalling Rishikesh....
Well, it was Shivpuri, a bit far way from the main town of Rishikesh. Unlike five star resort and luxury hotels, we enjoyed a stay at make-shift camps, build on the bank of river Ganges. The natural ambiance was full of adventure and was far away from the city cacophony.
Enthusiastic travel troupes missed no chance to ooze fun and adventure. The trekking began and we all dared to cover a distance of 4 kms. On the way, we encountered the place, we were actually looking for. Oh! The cascading spring was awesome and we couldn't stop ourselves from getting wet. For an hour, we took halt and then, resumed our expedition.
We were at the apex level of the Neer Parvat- a height from which you can feel like standing close to sky. A pool there, was an ideal place to take rest. For an hour, we engaged ourselves to splash silver-white spring fall.
It was around 3:30 pm, when we were back to our camping location. We had sumptuous lunch and took a nap in the tent. The afternoon time on the bank of river Ganges is awesome. The big block of stones on the river-line appeared like stool and each one of us took best position to throw pebbles in the river.
Well, a few of my colleagues tried volley ball in the sand scape and some took part in the adventure rope walk.
With dusk, fun took an indifferent angle. All 33 of us took chair in a circular manner and started to play 'Dumsheras'- a guessing game dedicated to Bollywood movies and Anktashri. Hymm....I must say, my colleagues possesses good acting skill and singing spirit. The day called off with lip-smacking snacks and dinner.
Day 2 was even more adventurous than Day 1. Guess What! On the very day, we enjoyed the hearting pounding river rafting. All the arrangements were made by Indo-Ganges Nature Camp. We were provided life-jackets and trained guide, who taught the river rafting technique very well. It was just more then anything else. Sailing down through the smooth flow of Ganges and facing the wild rapids is all together different. We covered 16 kms and faced 6 rapids, of which, I remembered the first one only- 'roller coaster'.
With completion of the rafting adventure, our trip came to an end. I think, I and few of my colleagues are a bit freaky. The last adventure task was something extra-ordinary. In spite of moving safe towards the developed road ways, we took pleasure to crawl high in the slippery hill-side and reach the bus. Thank God! We balanced to climb high or would have met accident, for sure.
The overall trip to Rishikesh went great. Stay tunned, till I set to pen down about my next traveling experience to the world of adventure.

Difference Between CV & Resume
While most of us use the terms 'Curriculum Vitae' (CV) and 'Resume'
interchangeably, there is a difference between these two documents.
All over the world (including India) except the US, employers ask
potential employees for a CV while applying for a position. While both
documents are used in the job application process, There is a
difference in what the contents of each should be.
To understand this, let us look at the literal meaning of these two terms:
Curriculum Vitae: The course of life;
Resume: Summary
A close look at the meaning of these terms makes things clearer. While
a CV discusses the course of life of a person, his Resume is a brief
summary of his skills and achievements. The meaning of the words offer
the basic differences between the two:
While a CV is detailed, a Resume is to the point
A CV is longer than a Resume. Usually, a CV is two or more pages long
while a Resume is essentially one page long.
A CV can contain some information about other facets of your life such
as hobbies and extracurricular activities. A Resume strictly contains
information relevant to the job.
A CV is usually used in USA only for academia and when you are
required to apply for a government grant. Potential employers usually
ask for a Resume there.
This means that while your CV when applying to two different jobs
could be same, your Resume has to be different, highlighting different
achievements in different cases.
So, what term should you use? While most times you will be asked for a
CV all over the world, you have to be cautious if you are in the USA.
In the USA, employers expect you to abide by the rules when they ask
you for your Resume.

Love At First Sight
Like me, you might have click on the situation way back in high school. Someone breeze by you, without even glancing back, yet you feel the world appear to be so beautiful. Eros strikes your heart and you feel the aura so romantic. Well, it sounds filmy and sometimes you can hear the virtual stammering of guitars or some romantic songs.
Famous poet John Keats is said to have enjoyed this superb feeling. It was in the autumn of the year 1818, when he was smitten at the first sight of his fiancée, Fancy Brawne.
Oh! its all about Love for which some dare to give up life. For those who feel the same, don't wait for the right time to come. Just wait for the right person to come. What if the 'Valentine's Day', the 'Romantic Rose Day' are gone. Listen to what your heart says and get going!
And we will all the pleasures prove
That valleys, groves, hills, and fields,
Woods or steepy mountain yields.
And we will sit upon the rocks,
Seeing the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
And I will make thee beds of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle
Embroidered all with leaves of myrtle;
A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull;
Fair lined slippers for the cold,
With buckles of th purest gold;
A belt of straw and ivy buds,
With coral clasps and amber studs:
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Come live with me and be my love.
The shepherds' swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May morning:
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my love.

Youngistan to Judge Teachers Today
Interestingly, the site has been signed up with more than 80 colleges all over India. I found endless reviews of teachers, that have been posted by students from Delhi College of Arts, St. Stephen's, Kirori Mal College, Delhi College of Engineering etc.
Thanks to the founder of the website, Mr. Rajat Agarwal, who gave students the chance to rate their teachers. During my educational career, my Gurus enjoyed a lot to grade me and I was left with no options to describe the likes and dislikes about my professors. Friends, you are provided with some path to highlight your opinions.

This 2010, Turn Your Home To Heaven
When it comes to making a dream home, work worth more than words. Life has turned so frenzied that we hardly care of turning our hazy home into a comfy heaven. But then it’s not a big deal now; we can easily try this art in a short span and yet in our small cottage.
Let’s fine-tune some ideas to décor our domicile and spray different themes for each rooms. Besides light colour scheme or wall paper we can affix some soft and hard, rough and shiny accessories; creating a chilly environment.
Lights:
Light is the chief of all decoration and nothing looks gorgeous without its presence. We can add texture at our home by mounting Wall lamps of vibrant colours for each room. We can also shed a little light by using the elegant Pasadena’s Chandelier.
Candle stand
The spectacular light dazzling on our dining table, not only makes us feel warm but also supplements sweet fragrance into the area within us. We can enjoy the beautiful glow, by using mirror as a tray and placing the superb Marilla’s crystal on it.
Mirror
A mirror reflects our image and it does same for our home. It’s amazing to mount the bejewelled ‘Swarovski mirrored wall shelf’ opposite a window such that it echoes the lovely outdoor setting and airy space.
Frame
Nothing else can capture our passion except the elegant touch of ‘endlove’frame, when placed, at the focal point of the bedroom.
Clock
Timepieces are timeless and have been used as a decorative item since 1650’s.Its various profiles define the vicinity it occupies. Sherwood’s crystal Salamander goes along way in a reading room and counts every second tick by.
